Job summary

SimCorp Warsaw is seeking a seasoned Problem Manager to drive root cause analysis, manage RCAs, and improve platform stability across cloud-based services. You will collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and platform engineers, using Opsgenie, Grafana, and Jira to surface insights and drive preventive actions.

The role emphasizes automation, data analysis, and strong communication within a global IT environment, with a hybrid work model and wide international exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Problem Management, Service Management or platform operations.
• Strong ITIL practices background (problem, incident, change).
• Experience with cloud monitoring/alerting platforms (Opsgenie, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Proficiency in RCA methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto) and tracking systems (Salesforce, Cadalys, ServiceNow, Jira).
• Familiarity with automation/self-healing frameworks for cloud operations.
• Experience with reporting/data analysis tools (Power BI, Azure Log Analytics).
• Excellent communication, facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, global, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive investigations into major/recurring issues and coordinate across engineering and operations.
• Ensure RCAs are delivered within SLAs to meet expectations.
• Identify systemic risks and address them via infrastructure changes or automation.
• Develop integrations across incident/change/problem management systems for traceability.
• Collaborate with SRE/Platform engineers to design/implement automation for known errors.
• Create and maintain RCA docs, known error databases, and self-service materials.
• Provide dashboards/reports on MTTR and problem trends for prioritization of improvements.
• Drive post-incident reviews and foster a culture of learning and accountability.
