Job summary

Square One Resources Limited is seeking Azure Platform Engineer to join a large-scale modernization program in financial services. You will design and maintain enterprise-scale Azure platforms, implement Landing Zones, and enforce governance, security, and IAM policies.

The role involves working with AKS, IaC, and platform APIs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in an international, fully remote team. 9–12 months assignment with Generative AI and cloud transformation exposure.

Qualifications

• 5 years of cloud/platform engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise.
• Knowledge of Azure platform architecture and Landing Zones.
• Experience with governance, security, networking, and IAM in Azure.
• Proficiency with AKS / Kubernetes and IaC automation.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with large-scale or regulated environments, ideally financial services.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Azure platform architectures.
• Developing and maintaining Azure Landing Zones.
• Implementing cloud governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Designing and managing cloud networking and security solutions.
• Working with AKS and containerized workloads.
• Implementing and managing IAM and identity controls.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration (IaC).
• Developing platform APIs and reusable services for teams.
• Supporting application teams in adopting cloud-native tech.
• Ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of platforms.
• Collaborating with architects, developers, DevOps, and security teams.
