Job summary

Nordea's Cloud Platform Team is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with deep Azure experience to own the Azure Landing Zone. This hands-on role builds new capabilities and keeps the platform healthy, secure, and reliable.

You will design Landing Zone components, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, run CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to governance, security, and observability. Hybrid work in Poland and collaboration with enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering with enterprise Azure experience.
• Experience designing and operating an Azure Landing Zone following CAF/Enterprise-Scale.
• Strong Terraform and Ansible skills for automation.
• Proficient in Python and Bash.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure networking (VNet, ExpressRoute) and zero trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Landing Zone infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Create reusable Landing Zone components for easy adoption by app teams.
• Design and run CI/CD pipelines for Landing Zone changes with automated testing.
• Contribute to architecture documentation and PRs.
• Identify and close gaps in automation.
• Design networking foundation across subscriptions and management groups.
• Operate hybrid connectivity with ExpressRoute and VPN Gateway.
• Apply zero-trust principles to access, Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and policy.
• Establish governance guardrails using CAF and policy-as-code.
• Develop platform observability dashboards.
• Lead P1/P2 incident response and post-mortem improvements.
