Job summary

Our client is seeking a Platform Engineer (Azure Platform) to design, build, and manage secure, scalable Azure cloud platforms. In this role, you will establish cloud foundations, implement governance, automate deployment, and enable application teams to build and operate cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud/platform engineering, 3+ years designing Azure-based platforms, and strong experience with IAM, IaC, AKS, and networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related technology roles.
• 3+ years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based cloud platforms.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments and platform services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure platform architectures that support scalable and secure cloud adoption.
• Develop and maintain Azure Landing Zones aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, controls, and operational frameworks.
• Design and manage Azure networking architectures, including connectivity, segmentation, and hybrid-cloud integrations.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and identity management solutions.
• Build, deploy, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, ensuring secure access and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Design and expose Platform APIs to enable self-service capabilities and platform consumption by engineering teams.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application teams to drive cloud platform adoption and modernization initiatives.
