Job summary

Dentons seeks an Information Security Engineer focused on Microsoft cloud technologies to strengthen security across Europe. You will design and implement controls for Microsoft 365 and Azure in hybrid environments and guide teams to meet security standards.

You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, embed security in architecture, and support incident response, vulnerability management, and governance initiatives across multi-country operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security or enterprise cybersecurity engineering.
• Azure security expertise including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, IaaS, App/API security or storage/database security.
• Microsoft 365 security expertise including Entra ID, Purview, Defender suite or Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles (Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, least privilege).
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Act as cybersecurity SME for Europe and Country IT teams.
• Embed security into application, infrastructure, identity, endpoint, and integration architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and business stakeholders to define security requirements.
• Work with SOC and CSIRT teams on incident response and remediation.
• Lead end-to-end vulnerability management activities and remediation tracking.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical leadership for complex security issues.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, reports, and control frameworks.
