Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and operationalize a complete governance framework for a national-scale data platform built on Microsoft Azure.

You will own the governance strategy from scratch, bridging senior client stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and technical delivery teams to define policies, stewardship models, data quality standards, lineage, cataloging, and access controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management for large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with Purview, Collibra or Alation.
• Translate regulatory mandates into engineering practices.
• Engage senior stakeholders in discovery, advisory, or presales.
• Excellent communication for governance roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall data governance strategy for a large-scale data platform build.
• Translate regulatory, compliance, and policy requirements into actionable engineering guidelines.
• Design and operationalize governance functions: stewardship, data quality, lineage, cataloging, RBAC.
• Advise senior stakeholders, presenting governance assessments and roadmaps.
• Support delivery teams in implementing governance tooling and practices.
• Stay ahead of evolving compliance and AI-governance landscapes in projects.
