Grid Dynamics in Poland (Wrocław) seeks an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and operationalize a national-scale enterprise data platform on Microsoft Azure. You will own the data governance strategy from scratch, aligning regulatory requirements with technical delivery and policy frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management for large enterprises.
• Ability to translate compliance and regulatory mandates into engineering practices.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders in discovery, advisory, or presales contexts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present governance roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall data governance strategy for a large-scale data platform build.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into actionable architecture and guidelines.
• Design and operationalize governance functions including data stewardship, quality, lineage, cataloging, and access control.
• Advise senior stakeholders with governance assessments, roadmaps, and frameworks.
• Support delivery teams in implementing governance tooling and practices across the platform.
• Stay ahead of evolving compliance and AI-governance landscapes and integrate best practices.
