Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and operationalize a comprehensive governance framework for a national-scale enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Azure.

You will own the data governance strategy from scratch, aligning regulatory requirements with technical delivery and defining policies, stewardship models, data quality standards, and access controls for a greenfield initiative.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management, with a proven track record of designing and operationalizing governance frameworks for large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation).
• Demonstrated ability to translate compliance and regulatory mandates into engineering and architectural practices.
• Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders in discovery, advisory, or presales contexts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex governance roadmaps to both business and technical audiences.
