HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support Avaloq change and delivery.

You will connect business stakeholders with product owners, developers, testers, architects, vendors and control functions to translate banking needs into practical technology solutions. The role involves engaging stakeholders, analysing requirements, documenting processes, and defining acceptance criteria, with a focus on Avaloq modules, data mappings and integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Avaloq Banking Suite experience across processes and interfaces.
• Experience analysing Avaloq change requests: impl, config, migration, upgrades.
• Experience delivering Avaloq changes from reqs to post‑production support.
• Ability to write functional specs, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Assess downstream impacts across connected systems and controls.
• Experience data migration, quality, reconciliation in Avaloq.
• Experience with Avaloq vendors and release processes.
• Knowledge of transactional banking or Private Banking is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to explain complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand goals, processes, controls, users, outcomes.
• Analyse requirements and translate into Avaloq specifications.
• Document current and future processes, data flows, interfaces and rules.
• Identify gaps between needs and Avaloq functionality; propose compliant solutions.
• Assess impact across Avaloq modules, config, integrations and reporting.
• Work with architects, developers, testers and vendors to define designs and data mappings.
• Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios for multiple testing types.
• Analyse defects and support root-cause analysis with traceability.
• Support estimation and prioritisation by identifying scope and risks.
