Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Autonomous Mining Technology Specialist to drive innovation in mining operations from Wroclaw, Poland. You will implement autonomous equipment, advanced digital technologies, and data-driven decision-making to shape quarrying and mining ventures.

You will collaborate with operational teams, technology vendors, and global stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of autonomous systems, including Autonomous Haulage Systems and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, consulting, technology deployment, quarry operations, or Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with data and operational performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
• High level of adaptability, resilience, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Support the development and execution of global and regional autonomous mining strategies.
• Project Delivery: Support the deployment of autonomous mining solutions across various HME types and coordinate testing and readiness.
• Operations & System: Monitor system performance, provide first-line support for autonomous mining applications, and maintain documentation.
• Change Management: Assist training, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
