Job summary

Syensqo seeks a Customer Technical Development (CTD) Engineer to provide timely, high-quality technical expertise to customers and to partner with the commercial team to drive new applications and market development.

This role covers application development across Europe, with a primary focus on the automotive market, including electrification, and will involve engagement with key customers such as Bosch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical support or research in polymer design and processing.
• Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and material properties.
• CAe/Moldflow knowledge to communicate results.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical expertise on existing and new applications in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Sales and external partners.
• Provide proactive technical consultation to anticipate issues and deliver solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships across customer organizations and engage with industry associations.
• Identify and develop new application and growth opportunities; deliver technical proposals and demonstrations.
• Provide end-to-end technical support: train customers, troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions.
