Job summary

Zing Recruiting seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing to lead continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will optimize processes, reduce waste, improve productivity, and support new product introductions while upholding safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include applying Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban), conducting time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis, and mentoring teams in Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive or complex manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Visio and Minitab preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

• Train and mentor team members on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
