Job summary

Regnology is seeking a Automation & AI Engineer to make the R&D organization more efficient by automating manual tasks, maintaining the Atlassian Cloud toolchain, and turning AI into practical time savings for engineers and Product Management. The role focuses on cloud-native configuration, automation, APIs, and marketplace extensions.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Jira Cloud: workflows, schemes, permissions, automations, fields.
• Proven ability to automate real workflows end-to-end using scripting (Python) and tool integrations.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted workflows and when to use or avoid AI in business processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive/manual tasks in R&D and PM workflows and remove them.
• Build and maintain automation across the Atlassian toolchain using Python and webhooks.
• Design AI-assisted flows with measurable quality and safety checks.
• Coordinate external delivery: brief suppliers, plan work, accept and test delivered work.
• Ensure maintainability: version control, documentation, observability.
