Job summary

project44 seeks an IT Automation Engineer to own the automation backbone uniting HR, Finance, Sales, and Security systems, while building two critical internal platforms from scratch. You’ll connect Workato recipes with Snowflake, manage identity flows, and handle incidents while advancing governance and security across the stack.

You’ll design, build, and operate an internal Project Registry and an AI spend governance platform, ensuring production readiness with rate limits, phased rollouts,

Qualifications

• Experience with Workato or a similar iPaaS: recipe design, webhooks, debugging.
• SQL and Snowflake experience: schemas, views, service accounts, performance/data-quality troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite data models and integration patterns.
• Experience with UKG Pro and Azure AD/Entra ID identity flows.
• Depth in Microsoft Entra ID: dynamic groups, Conditional Access, enterprise applications, SCIM/SAML provisioning.
• Azure hosting experience: Automation runbooks, Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, managed identities.
• Microsoft Intune / endpoint management and device compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation and integration backbone connecting HR, Finance, Sales, and Security systems.
• Build, monitor, and maintain Workato recipes and AI agents for cross‑system processes.
• Develop and operate internal platforms: Project Registry and AI spend governance toolbox.
• Triage helpdesk, incidents, and offboarding tickets; support SOC 2 compliance efforts.
