Job summary
Molex, a Koch company, is seeking an Automation Engineer to enhance reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. You will analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions across automation, robotics, vision systems, and electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Experience in industrial automation, maintenance engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC programs.
- Knowledge of industrial robotics, including diagnostics and fault resolution.
- Experience with industrial vision systems and related adjustments or optimization.
- Understanding of electrical systems, sensors, measurement devices, drives, and servo technologies.
- Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and execution.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and implement sustainable solutions.
- Communicative English skills enabling cooperation in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive improvements in machine reliability by analyzing breakdowns and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with Maintenance and Production teams to reduce downtime and increase production efficiency
- Own and improve key equipment performance indicators, including MTTR and MTBF
- Support commissioning, acceptance, and ramp-up of new manufacturing equipment
- Identify recurring technical issues and lead automation, electrical, and robotics-related improvements
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies to increase equipment availability
- Utilize CMMS tools to plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities
- Provide technical expertise in PLCs, robotics, vision systems, drives, and industrial automation technologies
- Manage technical modification projects while balancing performance, reliability, and cost objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance
