Job summary

Finom in Amsterdam is seeking a Reconciliation & Reporting Process Owner to lead architecture for reconciliation across SEPA, SWIFT, and card payments end-to-end. You will automate reporting, design data quality checks, and build dashboards for real-time visibility.

You should bring 5+ years in reconciliation, strong SQL, and BI tool experience; autonomy and clear communication are essential as you expand into investment reconciliation across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in reconciliation, payments operations, or related financial role.
• Strong SQL skills and data tooling experience.
• Experience with BI tools (Databricks, Metabase, Tableau or similar).
• Ability to automate processes using scripting and AI.
• Autonomy and clear communication to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of reconciliation across SEPA, SWIFT, and card payments end-to-end.
• Extend reconciliation to investments and portfolio reconciliation with external data providers.
• Build and automate vendor and regulatory reports linked to reconciliation data.
• Design data quality validations at the data source.
• Automate repetitive steps using internal tooling or scripts.
• Build dashboards for real-time visibility into breaks and aging.
• Drive structural fixes and act as SME on reconciliation data and tooling.
• Work autonomously from concept to shipped solution.
