Regnology Group GmbH is seeking an experienced Automation & AI Engineer for its R&D organization in Poznań. You will automate Jira Cloud-centric workflows, build AI-assisted flows, and maintain scalable tooling across the Atlassian Cloud suite.

Qualificações

Hands-on experience with Jira Cloud administration and configuration (workflows, schemes, permissions, automations, fields).
Experience automating real workflows end to end (scripting preferably in Python, plus integrations between tools).
Practical understanding of AI applied to real workflows and when not to use it.
Experience coordinating external delivery: briefing suppliers, planning work for others, accepting and testing what comes back.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery from having worked inside them.
Hands-on experience with adoption of tools or process changes, including enablement and follow-through.
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to mixed audiences and push back when needed.
Familiarity with AI concepts and its potential application in a business environment.
Experience with Atlassian Cloud APIs, webhooks and event-driven integrations.
Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines) and quality gates.
Familiarity with data/reporting patterns across multiple tools (metrics, dashboards, scheduled exports).
Atlassian Cloud migration experience (Data Center to Cloud).
Docs-as-Code or documentation pipeline experience.
Nice to have Forge or marketplace app evaluation/configuration on Cloud.
Experience in a large engineering organisation (enterprise scale).
Exposure to regulated environments, toolchain security practice, and audit/traceability expectations.
Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Advanced Roadmaps.

Responsabilidades

Automation & AI (core of the role): Identify repetitive, manual or error-prone work in R&D and PM workflows and remove it, prioritising hours returned to teams over technical novelty.
Design, build and maintain automation across the toolchain — primarily in Python — including scripts, scheduled jobs, webhooks and integrations between SDLC tools.
Build AI-assisted workflows (summarisation, drafting, triage or retrieval) with a clear measure of validity for trustworthiness.
Keep automation maintainable: version-controlled, reviewed, documented and observable.
Jira Cloud & Atlassian suite: Serve as a key contact for Jira Cloud and other Atlassian Cloud products, including workflows, schemes, fields, permissions, dashboards and native automation.
Provide user support and guidance, and build documentation and enablement that reduce support needs.
External delivery management: brief and order work from external suppliers, plan and break down work for others, accept delivered work against criteria and test it.
Chase quality and completeness; push back when delivery is incomplete or will create long-term maintenance costs.
Process & tooling improvement: analyse and document SDLC processes to simplify, standardise or automate, and support Agile ways of working.
Collaboration & M&A integration: work with R&D, PM and other stakeholders to translate needs into tooling and processes, and support integration during mergers and acquisitions.
