Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Atlassian Administrator to lead end-to-end Jira Server to Cloud migrations. You will analyze configurations, manage data integrity, and coordinate with business stakeholders. The role requires hands-on expertise with JCMA, Jira Cloud, and marketplace apps, plus excellent documentation skills.

The position offers a hybrid/work-from-Poland arrangement, with opportunities to work remotely within Poland and collaborate across multiple Jira environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with hands-on experience across Jira Server and Jira Cloud.
• Experience migrating Jira projects from Data Center/Server to Cloud.
• Understanding of workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions across Jira Software and Jira Service Management.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps and cloud compatibility requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end migrations from Jira Server to Jira Cloud.
• Analyze existing Jira configurations, including projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, screens, and automations.
• Identify migration risks, dependencies, and data limitations.
• Migrate Jira Software, Service Management, and Jira Work Management projects, along with issues, attachments, comments, custom fields, users, groups, and permissions.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation post-migration.
• Troubleshoot migration errors and resolve data inconsistencies.
• Coordinate app and plugin migration and replacement with Cloud-compatible alternatives.
• Maintain documentation of migration steps, configurations, and decisions.
