Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant fluent in German and English to join a fully remote team in Poland. You will advise and arrange travel for corporate clients, educate on options across air, rail, road, and lodging, and use Amadeus GDS to book in line with policy and regulations.

The role offers 2 months of training, and the Warsaw office will cover accommodation and transport for the initial period.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a call center environment.
• Professional communication in German and English, written and spoken.
• Computer skills including MS Office; comfortable with internet browsing.
• Comfort with math concepts like percentages and taxes.
• Strong attention to detail and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate clients (individuals and groups).
• Educate on travel options including air, rail, road, and hotels.
• Use GDS systems (Amadeus); ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Handle special requests with positive telephone service techniques.
• Collaborate with team to coach and provide feedback to improve service levels.

Training will be provided* Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements* Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests* Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levelsWe look forward to sharing more detailed job functions and key performance indicators during the interview process.**What We’re Looking For*** 1+ year of experience working in a call center* Professional communication (written and verbal) in both German and English* Computer and application skills, including Microsoft applications and internet browsing* Understanding of math applications, including percentages and taxes* Passion for excellence in client service and attention to detail* Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information* Resolving customer issues quickly and independently and with supplier* Teamwork and openness to feedbackOur Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation. In this role, the working hours are from Monday to Friday within two shifts: 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm, following the German holiday calendar.We provide a 2-months training. The first and the last week takes place in our office in Warsaw (accommodation and transport fee will be covered by the company).The role is fully remote in Poland - must reside in Poland.
