Job summary

Maersk GSC in Warsaw is hiring an Associate Finance Controller to manage end-to-end accounting for entities in scope and ensure accurate financial reporting in an international setting. The role blends Polish accounting knowledge with English communication across regions.

You will work in the Accounting to Reporting team, supporting month-end close, controls, and collaboration with auditors, process owners, and stakeholders to improve finance processes and reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Three years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• End-to-end accounting and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of Polish accounting requirements and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Review balance sheets and ensure accounts are substantiated.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Polish regulations.
• Assist with tax, audit and statutory reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate with auditors and process owners for consolidated information.
