Job summary

Maersk GSC in Warsaw is hiring an Associate Finance Controller to manage end-to-end accounting for entities within scope, ensuring timely financial reporting and strong controls. You will collaborate with process owners, auditors and stakeholders across countries, and work in English with teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
• End-to-end accounting and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of Polish accounting requirements and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Review balance sheets and substantiate accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support financial statement analysis and reporting of results.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Polish accounting requirements and statutory obligations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Consolidate accounting and tax information with process owners.
• Complete controls attestation within the RICC framework.
• Respond to finance inquiries and meet service levels.
• Identify process gaps and work with stakeholders to improve.
• Support regional finance projects as required.
