Maersk Global Service Centre in Warsaw is seeking an Associate Finance Controller with German to join our growing team. You will support IFRS, German GAAP, and month-end close, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Europe.

The role requires German language at approximately B1/B2 level, strong Excel and SAP experience, and a proactive, analytical mindset to help ensure timely financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Three years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational context.
• End-to-end accounting and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP.
• ERP experience, SAP/S4HANA preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review balance sheets and substantiate accounts.
• Investigate deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support financial statement analysis and reporting of operational results.
• Ensure IFRS/German GAAP compliance and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist regional finance projects.
