Job summary

Maersk GSC in Warsaw is seeking an Associate Finance Controller with German to join the Accounting to Reporting team. You will handle end-to-end accounting for entities, ensure accurate month-end close, and support financial analysis within a multinational setting.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in accounting, IFRS and German GAAP knowledge, SAP/S4HANA experience, and German language skills at B1/B2 level with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in accounting in a multinational organisation.
• End-to-end accounting and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/S4HANA) is valuable.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Deliver accurate month-end close and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors and process owners across countries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, German GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Support tax, audit and statutory reporting within deadlines.
• Assist with regional finance projects as needed.
