Job summary

MEININGER Krakłow śmiercentum is hiring an Assistant Hotel Manager (f/m/d) to blend operational leadership with hands-on guest service and support the day-to-day hotel operations.

You will work closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth operations, lead teams, and uphold MEININGER quality standards across departments, delivering memorable guest experiences at every stay.

Qualifications

• Hospitality background with Front Office or F&B experience.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in hotel operations.
• Currently in a supervisory position and aiming for hotel management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across Front Office and F&B.
• Serve as a key contact for suppliers, monitor stock and costs, and support monthly reporting.
• Implement and improve MEININGER quality standards in line with company guidelines.
• Assist in leadership, recruitment, onboarding and development of hotel staff.
• Own operational challenges, help the team find solutions, and maintain a positive environment.
• Work in a multicultural environment and be flexible to shifts including nights.
• You will host guests and help ensure an exceptional stay.

YOUR TASKS

• You work closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the Front Office and F&B departments
• You act as a key contact person for internal and external suppliers, monitor stock levels and costs, and support monthly reporting activities
• You ensure the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of MEININGER quality standards while maintaining compliance with company guidelines and procedures
• Together with the Hotel Manager, you support the leadership, recruitment, onboarding, and development of hotel team members
• You take ownership of operational challenges, support your team in finding solutions, and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment
• You enjoy working in a diverse hospitality environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day, evening, and night shifts according to operational needs
• You are a passionate host who creates memorable experiences and ensures our guests enjoy an exceptional stay.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a solid hospitality background with professional experience in Front Office, F&B, or hotel operations
• You have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Team Leader, Shift Leader, Supervisor, or in a similar operational leadership role
• You are currently working in a supervisory position and are motivated to take the next step towards hotel management
• You enjoy acting as a bridge between operational teams and hotel management, supporting both day-to-day operations and leadership responsibilities You are an inspiring and approachable personality who enjoys motivating, coaching, and developing team members
• You have strong organizational skills, a hands-on mentality, and a solution-oriented approach to your work
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and guest experiences
• You thrive in multicultural environments and enjoy working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds
