Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Process Optimization Engineer to join our team and drive improvements on the main assembly line in a dynamic automotive environment. You will analyze production performance, optimize process parameters, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will create and update work instructions, monitor OEE, perform PFMEA, investigate downtime, and contribute to metallization and painting processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Secondary education minimum; engineering degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and achieve goals.
• Strategic thinking and quality orientation.
• Ability to provide feedback and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production processes on the main assembly line by analyzing and adjusting parameters.
• Create and update work instructions, parameter sheets, visual aids.
• Analyze micro-downtime on assembly machines and identify root causes.
• Monitor OEE and assembly line performance.
• Conduct PFMEA to assess potential failure modes and their effects.
• Investigate mechanical downtimes and failures on lines.
• Analyze component/product rejects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide support for metallization and painting processes.
