Job summary

Færch Plast Group seeks a print production specialist to prepare materials for print and lay out graphic files according to printer specifications.

You will ensure file correctness, adapt designs to various printing techniques, and collaborate with printing houses and the production team to fulfill orders with high quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite for print tasks.
• Experience in preparing print-ready files (DTP / prepress).
• Practical understanding of printing techniques and standards.
• Ability to work with print house guidelines and specs.
• Knowledge of color theory and color management.
• Fluent English communication in writing and speaking.

Task and responsibilities

• Preparing materials for print
• Layout and editing of graphic files according to print house specifications,
• Checking file correctness,
• Adapting designs to different printing techniques,
• Cooperation with printing houses and the production department in the execution of orders.

Competencies and skills requirements

• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign),
• Practical knowledge of printing techniques (offset, dry-offset, flexographic, etc.) and printing standards,
• Experience in preparing print-ready files (DTP / prepress),
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality,
• Ability to work with print house guidelines and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of Esko software (e.g. ArtPro, Webcenter, Automation Engine),
• Experience in preparing packaging and labels,
• Knowledge of colour theory and colour management,
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
