Job summary

PINKO is seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our retail leadership team in Warszawa. You will lead day-to-day operations, coach Store Managers, and drive sales while ensuring consistent brand standards across our stores.

You will have autonomy in managing priorities, develop teams, analyze performance and implement action plans to achieve targets, with regular travel to stores in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of people management experience within retail.
• Strong sales and operational background with KPIs
• Experience in fashion/premium retail is an advantage
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Fluent English (B2) for business communication

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, engaged and hands-on Area Manager to join PINKO and support the sales performance and operational effectiveness of our stores.

The ideal candidate combines solid experience in sales and retail with strong people management skills, a business-oriented mindset and the ability to translate analysis, observations and growth opportunities into concrete actions.

YOUR ROLE

As Area Manager, you will work closely with the Retail Manager and Store Managers, coordinating day-to-day store operations and ensuring consistent execution of sales priorities, operational procedures and brand standards.

You will have autonomy in managing daily operational priorities within your assigned area, while also contributing to broader initiatives related to people development, training and customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating day-to-day store operations and providing ongoing support to Store Managers.
• Monitoring sales performance and KPIs, identifying areas for growth and translating analytical insights into effective action plans.
• Supporting Store Managers and teams in achieving sales targets while ensuring high standards of customer service, operational excellence and consistent execution of brand standards.
• Supporting Store Managers in team organisation, scheduling, motivation, employee development and day-to-day people management.
• Conducting regular store visits, monitoring the implementation of agreed actions and proactively recommending improvements to drive business performance.
• Preparing business reports and analyses and supporting the Retail Manager on key projects, training initiatives and cross-functional activities in collaboration with Merchandising and other teams.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 5 years of people management experience within retail, ideally gained as a Store Manager, Area/Regional Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong sales and operational background, very good knowledge of retail KPIs and the ability to analyse performance and translate insights into concrete actions.
• Experience in fashion, premium or luxury retail and/or within a multi-store environment will be considered an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop teams, combined with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a proactive, accountable and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Minimum B2 level of English, enabling confident spoken and written business communication, and availability for regular business travel.
