Job summary

Twinings is seeking an AR Accountant in Poland to handle cash allocation, collections, and customer account reconciliations. You will collaborate with the Accounting Team Leader and cross-functional teams to support financial operations in a growing multinational environment.

The role requires 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivables, proficiency in SAP, and strong English and Polish communication. Hybrid work is offered with one day per week in the office.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or accounting.
• 1–2 years' experience in Accounts Receivables/Deductions.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Strong organizational skills and task management.
• Proficient English and Polish.
• Knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Manage deductions on the customer accounts.
• Cash collection and allocation, disputes, customer/invoice queries, order release, recharge invoices.
• Analyze, reconcile, cleanse, and clarify discrepancies on customer accounts.
• Perform credit limit analysis and support credit risk assessment.
• Support month-end and year-end activities including bank reconciliation and reporting.
• Co-operate remotely and with local, regional, and global teams.

The AR Accountant will be responsible for cash allocation, collection management, customer management, reconciliation accounts, AR month end tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Accounting Team Leader and collaborates with various departments to support the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage deductions on the customer accounts.
• Cash collection&allocation, dispute management, managing customer & invoice queries, order release process, issuing recharge invoices.
• Analysis, reconciling, cleansing, clarifying discrepancies on the customer account.
• Performing credit limit analysis and calculation, supporting credit risk assessment
• Supporting of month end, year-end activities incl. bank reconciliation, preparing reports.
• Co-operate remotely and directly with local, regional and global multinational teams.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• University degree (finance, accountancy or related preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivables/Deductions
• Familiarity with SAP
• Effective organizational skills and ability to manage tasks
• Communicative English (B2 level or higher) and Polish - required
• Knowledge of French or German would be an additional asset
