Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Applied AI Solutions Engineer in Kraków, Poland. The role blends software engineering, data, AI and business to deliver real, deployable solutions.

You’ll work with stakeholders to translate problems into data products and AI-enabled workflows, using Databricks, Python, SQL, Azure and modern AI tools. Expect 2–3 international trips per quarter as you scale solutions across sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering experience across the full stack.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data-driven apps.
• Commercial experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to build real applications or data products.
• Strong focus on testing and code quality.
• Practical AI coding tool experience (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot).

Salary: around 300,000 PLN gross annually | Permanent

We are looking for a hands-on Applied AI Solutions Engineer combining strong software engineering skills with a consulting mindset.

About the Role

The role sits between software engineering, data, AI and business. You will work directly with stakeholders, understand their problems and quickly turn available data into working applications, data products and AI-enabled solutions.

This is not a traditional Data Scientist role. We are looking for someone who can build, deploy and iterate real solutions, not only analyse data or create prototypes.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand problems and processes
• Turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions
• Build applications, data products, simulations, optimizers and AI-enabled workflows
• Connect and work with data from different enterprise and operational sources
• Use tools such as Claude Code, Codex and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development
• Build and integrate LLM, RAG and agentic solutions where they create real value
• Validate solutions with users and real data and iterate quickly
• Own solutions end-to-end from discovery through implementation and adoption
• Work with IT, Data and Platform teams to scale successful solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on software engineering skills

This is a global role involving regular cooperation with international business teams and operational sites.

You should expect approximately 2-3 international trips per quarter, typically around 1 week per trip.
