Job summary

Atos SE is seeking a technically minded Application Support Engineer to join a team that supports a workforce management and shift scheduling application. The role combines customer communication, troubleshooting, SQL analysis, code investigation, and bug fixing across the full support lifecycle.

You will debug C# code, write SQL queries, and collaborate with customers and internal teams. The hybrid work model supports a balance between onsite and remote work as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and able to debug complex applications.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing advanced SQL queries.
• Experience with Git version control and code reviews.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in complex database-driven apps.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and defect management processes.
• Able to analyze application behavior and explain outcomes to customers.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer-reported issues and respond to support requests.
• Analyze application behavior and explain why the system produced a given result.
• Determine if issues are expected behavior or defects.
• Write and execute SQL queries to prepare reports and data.
• Debug and analyze C# code to identify root causes.
• Reproduce customer issues in a local development environment.
• Shift and roster processing.
• Working hours calculations.
• Payroll and export calculations.
• Fix defects and perform testing before deployment.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams via email and tickets.
• Maintain understanding of technical implementation and business rules.
