HCLTech is seeking an Application IT Support Analyst with Power BI to bridge business needs and data-driven solutions. This hybrid role based in Wroclaw involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

You will model data, optimize SQL queries, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure governance and security standards are met.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of corporate experience in the data domain with a focus on BI and Power BI development.
• Power BI mastery: reports, dashboards, data modeling, and multi-source integration.
• Advanced SQL skills and data transformation in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and requirements gathering abilities.

Overview of the Role:

As an Application IT Support Analyst with Power BI at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions. This hybrid position combines business analysis expertise with advanced Power BI development to deliver actionable insights that empower informed decision-making across the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on process efficiency, data security, and the overall strategic objectives of HCLTech's global operations.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data, process optimization, and security.
• Translate complex business needs into well-structured user stories and functional specifications, ensuring clear communication between business and technical teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Power BI reports, interactive dashboards, and advanced data visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
• Perform data modeling and query optimization to ensure efficient handling and transformation of large datasets.
• Integrate diverse data sources into Power BI to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ corporate experience in the data domain, with a strong focus on business analysis and Power BI development.
• Mastery of Power BI, including report and dashboard design, advanced visualizations, data modeling, and integration of multiple data sources.
• Proven advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and large-scale data manipulation.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting requirements, developing user stories, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Other Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Databricks, with a foundational understanding of its collaborative data engineering, machine learning, and analytics environment.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL, or business analysis are a plus.
• Experience working in hybrid or remote teams within multinational environments.
