Job summary

ITDS is seeking a Mid-Level Power BI Analytics Specialist for a Poznań-based, fully remote role. You will partner with business teams to translate needs into clear, actionable dashboards and reports that drive informed decision-making.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Power BI or BI, strong DAX and SQL skills, and hands-on data modelling experience. Polish and English proficiency required; global eligibility is supported.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Hands-on experience with DAX and Power Query (M).
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Experience with data modelling including star schemas and relationships.

As a Mid-Level Power BI Analytics Specialist, you will be working for our client, supporting the delivery of effective analytical reporting solutions. You will collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and transform data into clear, functional reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and analytical dashboards in Power BI.
• Prepare, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
• Create measures and calculations using DAX.
• Build and optimise analytical data models, including star schemas, fact tables, dimension tables, and relationships.
• Write SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service.
• Verify data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver practical reporting solutions.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 2-4 years of experience in Power BI or Business Intelligence.
• Good knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Practical experience with DAX and Power Query (M).
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Experience with data modelling, including star schemas, relationships, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• The ability to create clear, functional, and user-friendly dashboards.
• Knowledge of data preparation, transformation, and analysis processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and solve problems.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Azure.
• Experience with Power Automate.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps, or the Microsoft PL-300 certification.

Language Required for the role: Fluent Polish and communicative English.
