Sii Poland is seeking a Lead Data Analyst (Power BI) to bridge business needs with technology, translating requirements into modern analytical solutions and dashboards. You will lead the Power BI team, define reporting standards, and collaborate with data engineers and architects to build robust data platforms.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Power BI analytics, strong leadership experience, and fluency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in developing and enhancing Power BI analytics and data work.
• Experience as Tech Lead / Lead Developer / Senior Consultant.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, semantic modeling, and best reporting practices.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and DAX.
• Practical knowledge of DWH architecture, Data Lakehouse, and cloud solutions.
• Experience collaborating with clients on requirements, presentations, and consulting.
• Ability to make tech decisions and lead initiatives.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
• Experience in presales and bid support.
• Fluent in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into analytical solutions and Power BI dashboards.
• Lead workshops and requirements analysis to shape analytical offerings.
• Define reporting standards and Data Governance best practices for Power BI.
• Work with data developers, data architects, and DevOps/FinOps on solutions.
• Mentor and develop the Power BI analyst team; supervise quality and usability of dashboards.
• Monitor analytics market trends and contribute to Data & Analytics Center offerings.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.

Join our Data & Analytics Competency Center and co-create modern analytical solutions based on Microsoft Power BI.

As a Lead Data Analyst (Power BI), you will bridge the business and technology worlds – engaging in client conversations, translating business needs into analytical solutions, and supporting organizations in building a Data-Driven culture.

You will develop reporting standards and Data Governance, support the Power BI analyst team, and collaborate with DWH architects and data engineers in designing modern data platforms.

Your tasks

• Collaboration with business stakeholders
• Conducting workshops, analyzing requirements, and translating business goals into analytical solutions and Power BI dashboards
• Defining reporting standards and best practices in Power BI and Data Governance
• Cooperation with data developers (ETL), data architects, and DevOps/FinOps
• Leading the team – mentoring, developing skills, and providing substantive support to analysts
• Supervising the quality, consistency, and usability of delivered analytical solutions
• Monitoring market trends in analytics
• Co-creating and developing the Data & Analytics Center's offer
• Representing the organization at industry conferences and actively participating in market events

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in developing and enhancing Power BI analytics and working with data
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer / Senior Consultant
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles, semantic modeling, and best reporting practices
• Advanced skills in tools: SQL, Python, DAX
• Practical knowledge of DWH architecture, Data Lakehouse, and cloud solutions
• Experience in project work with clients (requirements gathering, consulting, presentations)
• Ability to make technological decisions and take responsibility for them
• Strong communication and consulting skills
• Experience in presales processes (concept preparation, support for bidding, estimations)
• Ability to identify market trends in data analytics and apply them practically in building offers and solutions for clients
• Fluent communication in Polish and English

Nice to have

• Active participation in the industry community (attending conferences, meetups, market monitoring)
• Using AI in analytics automation
• Knowledge of MS Fabric IQ and/or Copilot Studio
