MKS Instruments in Poznań seeks an Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert to drive continuous process improvements, support transitions, and promote standardization across the Poznań scope. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or another business-related discipline.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a multi-legal-entity environment.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly organized, process-driven, and able to effectively prioritize workloads, manage multiple tasks, and accommodate ad hoc requests.
• Precise, detail-oriented, and structured in approach, with a strong focus on documentation quality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
• Sense of urgency and a strong commitment to delivering results and achieving goals.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level); additional European languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for AP-related processes across all entities within BSC Poznań scope.
• Collaborate with SSC Teams, HQ, and Local Finance; participate in transition activities.
• Resolve process questions and support process improvement initiatives, including automation.
• Drive continuous improvement of AP processes and establish internal controls.
• Coordinate AP improvement projects; ensure on-time delivery and track progress.
• Develop detailed project plans and manage stakeholder communication.
• Support data gathering and global data management across teams.

Job description

As an Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert, you will drive continuous process improvements, support transition and transformation activities, promote process standardization, and serve as the primary point of expertise for internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

You Will Make an Impact By: Acting as a subject matter expert for AP-related processes, working across all entities within BSC Poznań scope, cooperating with SSC Teams, HQ, and Local Finance, Participation in transition activities and cooperation with the project management team on related projects implemented for countries supported, Working with team members to resolve process questions, provide support for process improvement initiatives, recommend process changes to improve efficiency, including automation initiatives, Driving the continuous improvement of the business processes across all business units and locations, including setup of internal controls within AP Setting and supporting the achievement of process performance objectives and KPIs - implement a culture of performance metrics measurement Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to create processes to improve data gathering and global data management Assisting AP team members in terms of AP processes and SAP Arrange the necessary training (learning path, track knowledge gaps & assess refresher process trainings, ensure the process training for the new team members as per learning path). Coordinating AP improvement projects - ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, develop a detailed project plan to track progress Ensuring efficient communication and relationship management with multiple stakeholders.
