Job summary

Trimble is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to handle end-to-end payable operations across European markets, with a focus on Polish tax compliance and KSeF processing. You will support Polish entities, drive process automation, and contribute to period-end activities in a global environment.

You will collaborate with accounting peers and external auditors to maintain accuracy, ensure VAT and Polish GAAP compliance, and optimize S2P workflows while working in a hybrid Cracow-based role.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Accounts Payable supporting Polish entities with Polish GAAP and VAT rules.
• Fluency in English and Polish with strong communication skills.
• Experience with month-end closing and bank reconciliations under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable for European entities and vendor payments.
• Lead monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and travel expense processing.
• Navigate Polish tax compliance, including KSeF processing and Split Payment workflows.

In this role, you will serve as a vital contributor to our European financial operations, driving operational stability for the Polish entity. You will directly influence efficiency by supporting process automation initiatives, mastering cutting-edge e-invoicing platforms like KSeF, and driving period-end success within a collaborative global business environment.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable lifecycle across assigned European entities, ensuring seamless vendor payment execution and precise ledger maintenance.
• Direct monthly closing activities, executing accurate bank reconciliations, travel expense processing, and period-end accruals under tight schedules.
• Navigate Polish tax and compliance mechanisms, including processing KSeF and managing Split Payment Mechanism workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional accounting experts, stakeholders, and external auditors to continuously enhance S2P processes and ways of working.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Solid, practical experience in Accounts Payable supporting Polish legal entities with strong knowledge of Polish GAAP, VAT split rules, and local tax requirements.
• Native or professional fluency in both English and Polish with strong communication skills.
• Proven capability navigating period-end closing deadlines and conducting complex bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and local ERP systems.

Bonus Points For:

• Prior experience working within Comarch ERP Optima.
• Hands‑on experience executing downloading and processing within the KSeF system.
• Broad exposure to broader Source-to-Pay (S2P) operational improvements or system automation projects.
