Job summary

Allegro in Poznań is seeking an Android Mobile Software Engineer 2 to own the Homepage feature of our Allegro Android app. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, high-performance mobile experiences in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams; participate in code reviews; and help improve architecture with modern Android practices, including testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization. English and Polish communication required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in native Android (Kotlin) development.
• Familiar with MVVM/MVI/clean architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing (unit/integration).
• Good written and spoken English and Polish.
• Proactive problem-solving and user-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for the Allegro Android homepage.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and scale of mobile engineering practices.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
