Job summary

HARMAN Corporate seeks a dedicated Compliance & Privacy professional in Łódź to lead security and privacy assessments for new systems and projects. This role supports audits, maintains ISMS, and responds to data requests under GDPR and related regulations.

You will coordinate internal audits, ensure ISMS-aligned processes, and implement regular controls across security domains, while collaborating with stakeholders in a hybrid work setting three days per week.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience on Cyber Security or Compliance activities.
• Experience with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal audits related to SOX or other ad-hoc audits.
• Facilitate compliance with ISMS requirements across the business.
• Perform regular (monthly/quarterly) compliance controls on user management, change management, policies.
• Serve as SME and primary contact for Internal Audit regarding ISMS.

What You’ll Be Part Of

Responsible for facilitating the Digital Compliance & Privacy activities across the company. This primarily involves performing Security & Privacy Impact Assessments for new systems or projects the Harman business intends to implement. The role also supports internal and external audits, maintaining our ISMS and compliance framework as well as responding to data subject access requests under GDPR or other privacy regulations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Manage all kinds of internal audits related to (K)SOX or other ad-hoc audits
• Facilitate business stakeholders to comply with compliance requirements defined by the internal ISMS
• Perform compliance controls on a regular (i.e., monthly, quarterly) basis around user management, change management, policy adherence and other areas
• Serve as subject matter expert and central contact for Harman’s Internal Audit department related to Harman’s internal compliance control system (i.e., the ISMS)
• Maintain the set of HARMAN policies and procedures which are security or compliance related

What Makes You A Strong Fit

• 2-3 years of experience on Cyber Security or Compliance activities, preferably in international footprint
• Experience on GDPR, CCPA and other privacy frameworks
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing and speaking
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Points if You Have

• Industry certifications around auditing practices, e.g. CISA or relatable

• Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic only OR domestic and international travel
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, 3 days per week from our Łódź office
