Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a team responsible for reliability across the Akamai Inference Platform.

You will partner with product engineering to embed reliability into fast-moving AI solutions and oversee multi-node GPU clusters and serverless inference for global-scale performance. You will drive SRE practices, capacity planning, fault management, and observability while shaping hiring and interview processes for SRE roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering leadership.
• Experience building reliability into AI/ML infrastructure.
• Proven ability to define and drive SRE metrics, runbooks and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an existing SRE team focused on Akamai Inference Platform reliability.
• Partner with product engineering to embed reliability leadership into roadmaps.
• Define and enforce SRE practices including SLOs/SLIs, error budgets and observability.
