Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineering to lead the SRE efforts for Akamai Inference Platform. You will partner with product engineering to embed reliability into fast-moving AI products, guiding SRE initiatives for serverless inference and multi-node GPU clusters at global scale.

You will oversee hiring strategy, interview coordination, and align reliability with development velocity, while implementing automated workflows to reduce toil and boost operational resilience across

Qualifications

• Experience leading SRE/Platform teams in cloud environments.
• Expertise in SRE methodologies (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets).
• Experience running Operational Readiness/Production Readiness Reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SREs and guide best practices across the org.
• Define and refine SRE practices with SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, capacity planning and observability.
• Champion ORR/PRR processes and create runbooks for production readiness.
