Trax Retail is seeking an AI Software Engineer to build and deploy production-grade visual intelligence solutions for global retail environments. The role emphasizes delivering robust, tested code and scalable architectures for multimodal perception across thousands of stores.

You will work on Python-based pipelines, DL models, and on-device optimization, collaborating with an international team in a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ML/DL model development and production deployment.
• Strong mathematical foundations for CV and 2D/3D geometry.
• Experience with multimodal AI, LLMs/VLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency with Python and DL frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with Git, Jira, and CI/CD in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and fully-tested production code and participate in code reviews.
• Train and evaluate deep learning models and Vision-Language Models for retail scenes.
• Design and implement AR/Spatial features bridging CV and graphics.
• Profile, optimize, and deploy models for edge devices with latency/memory constraints.
• Work with multimodal LLMs/VLMs and prompting techniques for automation.
• Improve algorithms for robustness and global scalability.
