Job summary

Grid Dynamics, Nasdaq-listed tech services leader, seeks a Senior/Staff AI Engineer to advance multimodal generative models for robotics and physical AI. You will join the R&D team designing models for dexterous manipulation in manufacturing and logistics, lead research in perception, motion generation, and scalable AI pipelines.

The role demands strong Python, PyTorch and JAX/Flax skills, a track record of publications, and a PhD or MS in engineering or CS.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals and implementation skills in deep learning, vision or multimodal models.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch; practical experience in ML model development.
• Experience with large-scale AI training (GPU clusters, Ray).
• Advanced degree or equivalent research experience in Engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop models for dexterous robotic manipulation for manufacturing and logistics.
• Lead research in robotic perception, motion generation, and physical AI.
• Develop algorithms and scalable AI pipelines for production use.
• Combine computer vision, motion planning, and RL/VLA models in robotic apps.
• Define data generation and supervise dataset scaling for model capability.
