Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an AI Risk Management Expert to lead the evolution of the AI risk management framework.

You will oversee risk policy documents, facilitate risk councils, and provide 2nd Line challenge across the organization while ensuring 1st Line ownership of risk decisions. The role requires 7+ years in risk management, deep knowledge of AI regulatory requirements (EU AI Act) and established platforms like ServiceNow GRC/IRM or AI Control Tower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Governance, Internal Controls, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of AI risk management frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and EU AI Act requirements.
• Experience with Integrated Risk Management and AI Governance platforms (ServiceNow GRC/IRM, AI Control Tower).
• Proven ability to facilitate risk governance bodies and committees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI risk management framework aligned with 2nd Line functions.
• Lead AI risk management training and guidance for stakeholders.
• Monitor AI risks, issues, and risk treatment decisions; facilitate risk councils.
• Coordinate risk assessments and ensure accountability remains with 1st Line.
• Prepare and drive consolidated AI risk reporting across Hitachi Energy.
