Job summary

Danske Bank is building a central AI Model Assessment team in Business Controls & Product Management. As an AI Risk Evaluator, you will assess AI solutions before deployment and throughout their lifecycle, helping model owners demonstrate intended use, performance, risks and controls are understood, tested and documented.

This role offers interaction with model owners, data scientists, engineers and governance functions to translate risk into practical assessments and reusable methodologies,

Qualifications

• Experience with AI model risk management and governance.
• Proficient in evaluating AI systems from technical and risk perspectives.
• Knowledge of LLMs, foundation models, and RAG.
• Ability to translate technical findings into enterprise risk terms.
• Experience in data analysis and model testing with Python.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Regulated industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lifecycle assessments of AI models and AI-enabled solutions.
• Assess model risk, controls, and documentation prior to deployment and during use.
• Provide robust challenge to owners and developers on assumptions and evidence.
• Translate risk findings into actionable recommendations for governance.
• Design and execute evaluations of model performance, robustness, and failure modes.
• Produce clear, traceable findings and reusable evaluation assets.
• Prepare reproducible evidence for independent review and validation.
