Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Kraków is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade AI-powered solutions in a hybrid, B2B setting. You will work on backend services with Java/Spring Boot, frontends with React, and cloud-native platforms across AWS/GCP/Azure, deploying inside Kubernetes clusters.

The role emphasizes prompt engineering for production LLM applications, multi-agent workflows, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs and event-driven services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering for production LLM applications.
• Knowledge of prompt evaluation frameworks and tooling.
• Understanding of tokenization, context limits, temperature tuning, and LLM behavior.
• Experience designing prompts for tool calling, structured outputs, and multi-turn conversations.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver production-quality services
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, testing processes, and platform observability
• Design, evaluate, and optimize prompts for production LLM applications
• Build and manage prompt libraries and versioning strategies
• Translate business requirements into structured prompt specifications
• Design and implement agentic AI solutions and multi-agent workflows
• Build LLM observability, evaluation, logging, and guardrail frameworks
• Support responsible AI adoption through validation and risk mitigation practices
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build frontend applications and integrations using React
• Work with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, and Kubernetes environments
