Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking an Expert Backend Consultant (Python & Java) with AI/ML skills for a hybrid role in Kraków. You will design and implement production-grade AI and GenAI solutions, integrating Python services with existing Java ecosystems and contributing to enterprise-scale architecture.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering, hands-on AI/GenAI delivery, experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and secure software development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python/Java
• Hands-on AI/GenAI delivery in production
• Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI governance
• Knowledge of secure software development and enterprise integration
• Experience building microservices and APIs
• Hybrid work in Kraków (onsite 6-8 days/month)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade AI/GenAI solutions in Python and Java
• Build LLM-based apps, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
• Develop secure APIs and microservices and integration components
• Integrate Python with existing Java services and enterprise platforms
• Adopt CI/CD, quality gates and automated security checks
• Collaborate with architects, QA, platform and operations teams
