Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Poland seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our hybrid team with three days in office at Kraków, Wrocław, or Gdańsk.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using Java Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks, while collaborating across product, UX, BI, and QA teams. You’ll drive API design, event-driven solutions, tests, and architecture decisions, while advocating best practices in security and performance in a global engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack experience.
• Strong backend with Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• REST API design and data modeling proficiency.
• Experience with SQL, testing (JUnit) and Kafka.
• Frontend framework expertise (Angular or React) in component-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack apps with Java back end and modern frontend.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Collaborate with product owners, BAs, UX designers, and QA.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and security.
• Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with messaging systems and asynchronous patterns in distributed architecture.
