Job summary

Backbase Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Software Engineer (Web) to build user-centric web applications and banking solutions while leveraging AI-driven tools to accelerate code delivery, testing, and system integrations.

You will work across UI, backend services, and APIs, writing clean TypeScript/Angular code and ensuring accessibility, security, and performance standards in a cross-functional Scrum squad.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern web technologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI coding assistants and LLM workflows to accelerate feature development across UI, backend services, and APIs.
• End-to-end ownership: deliver production-ready features for banking platforms.
• From Angular frontend components to backend microservice integrations.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript/Angular code using Nx and RxJS with a11y, security, and performance focus.
• Collaborate in a Scrum squad to ship rapid product increments.
