Backbase in Kraków is seeking an Applied AI Software Engineer (Web) to build user-centric web applications and banking solutions, leveraging AI-driven tools to accelerate delivery and testing.

You will own features end-to-end from Angular front-end to backend integrations, write clean TypeScript/Angular code, ensure accessibility, security, and performance, and collaborate in a cross-functional Scrum squad in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering with modern web tech.
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and RxJS experience.
• Backend integrations, REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD familiarity.
• Excellent written and spoken English in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready features for banking web apps end-to-end.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development, testing and integration.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript/Angular code with accessibility and security in mind.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Scrum squad to ship rapid increments.
