Job summary

Altimi, a technology acceleration partner, seeks a Solution Architect to lead a rapid AI-supported refactor of a large EdTech mobile platform. You will architect a headless React + Node.js stack, migrate content, and guide the client through workshops and architecture decisions.

You will work with a global client, design migration strategies, and ensure performance at scale while collaborating with the development team. This role is fully remote with flexible options.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with 3+ years in an architect role.
• Proven migration/modernization experience on legacy systems.
• Strong PHP/Laravel, plus Node.js and React knowledge.
• Experience with mobile apps and high-traffic architectures.
• Relational DB design and data migration expertise.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current PHP/Laravel app, data model and SQL logic.
• Define a headless React + Node.js target architecture and DB.
• Plan a migration strategy that keeps live users running.
• Lead AI-assisted content and data migration efforts.
• Define use of AI refactoring tools with quality checks.
• Run client workshops and translate needs into architecture.
• Support pre-sales: estimates, roadmaps, risk assessments.
