Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, working with HelloTech, is seeking a Senior Data Product Engineer on the Marketing Customer Profile team to design and scale the foundational data layer powering high-impact personalization and real-world segmentation.

You will integrate diverse data sources into a unified customer view, enabling AI/ML modeling and real-time marketing activations, optimizing a Databricks-based infrastructure to drive personalized journeys across markets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling beyond casual experimentation.
• Strong background in data engineering with clean, maintainable Python code.
• Proficient in cloud platforms and data tech such as PySpark and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS S3 for data storage.
• Knowledge of backend development and data pipelines end-to-end.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and verifying AI outputs.
• Ability to operate, monitor and improve data systems in production.
• Comfortable in agile environments with continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data pipelines from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and BI teams to deliver data products.
• Act as technical expert for data solutions and tooling.
• Work with AWS services, Kafka, PySpark, Kubernetes, Airflow, Databricks.
• Instrument, monitor, and optimize data systems in production.
• Ship features and iterate based on data and user feedback.
